New WhatsApp feature which will help you stop spreading fake news and scam messages

As part of the company's continuing crackdown on fake news, WhatsApp may soon warn users about forwarded messages that are fake. Several WhatsApp blog sites are reporting in-app notifications that tell users when a message "has been forwarded many times". The warning appears to arrive when you've received spam, but also when WhatsApp notices you're about to forward a dodgy message.  According to blog reports, a message can be forwarded 25 times before it will prompt the warning alert. So what do you do if you need to send a message to lots of people at once? Well, the best method is WhatsApp's Broadcast List feature, which lets you send a message to a large group of contacts.  Importantly, the Broadcast List doesn't work for spammers, because only people who have you saved in their contacts will get your broadcast message. It's worth noting, however, that WhatsApp doesn't appear to block messages forwarded more than 25 times, so it seems you'll still be able to mass-forward content – for now, anyway.
