After several analysis of the relationship between WhatsApp text bomb vulnerability and WhatsApp itself, we found out that the
bomb is as a result of WhatsApp's inability to render complex and large amounts of texts due to several factors which have not been completely discovered. But one thing i know for sure is that the bomb effect varies according to phone: that is, phone's with larger ram can whitstand the effect longer than phones with smaller ram, there seem to be some kind of connection between messaging apps and text- fonts, characters, size, quantity and the phone's display memory or something similar. So we decided to consider this factor a hypothesis and suspend the conclusion until we've tried it on several messaging apps and gotten our results.
Currently we tested the bomb on
Messenger and it prove positive, although the effect was different from WhatsApp's in such a way that ; it didn't have to hang for so long before it recovered. The bomb had an effect duration of 20 to 30 seconds which seems to be impressive compared to that of WhatsApp. But either ways, it is still vulnerable.
We will keep trying to contact
Facebook’s Developers team to find a solution to both WhatsApp and
Messenger's text rendering flaw Aka Bomb.
