WhatsApp 📱 has 1.5 billion monthly users 😱 and is still growing
Facebook recently reported its Fourth Quarter and Full Year 2017 results. On the occasion, Mark Zuckerberg, CEO of Facebook, said, "2017 was a strong year for Facebook, but it was also a hard one…..Our community continues to grow with more than 2.1 billion people now using Facebook every month and 1.4 billion people using it daily. Our business grew 47 percent year-over-year to $40 billion.”
Mark Zuckerberg also disclosed on Thursday, WhatsApp now has 1.5 billion monthly active users (MAUs) who are exchanging nearly 60 billion messages on a single day.
To help businesses communicate better with their customers, WhatsApp last month officially rolled out 'WhatsApp Business' — a free-to-download Android app for small businesses — around the world, including in India.
The new app, available on Google Play Store, aims to make it easier for companies to connect with customers and makes it more convenient for its users to chat with businesses that matter to them.
